Hi Guys,

The annual Tough Guys Weekend Campout is coming up the first weekend in May (see poster to the right).
Be sure to let Captain Howard know that you're coming.
All your favourite activities will be happening as well as some new ones.

Brigade Dinner!

Hi Guys,

This Thursday, April 26, is our Brigade Dinner where you can bring your parents to come and have dinner so they can see some of the neat things that are happening with Battalion. Bring your dad and/or mom and come prepared to eat. The event starts at 6:30pm which is a little earlier than our usual start time. There will be food, including dessert (or is that desert, whichever one it is you eat).
Please let Captain Howard know if you are coming and how many you will be bringing.

Survived Winter Camp!

Congratulations to those of you who survived the annual 'We're Crazy But We Don't Care Winter Camp' at Manning Park this year. According to leaders who went it was one of the colder camps we've had. Those first-timers learned that it is important to have enough clothing and to stay dry.

We have a WINNER!!!!

Congratulations to Gavin D. who won the All-Comers race with his Shape'N'Race car on Saturday.

Overall it was a day filled with some fantastic racing including the head-to-head battle of the Demo Class including our Captain Howard having one of his cars disqualified (you'll have to ask him about that). Good times were had, races were run and hot dogs were consumed.

See you Thursday when hopefully we'll be presenting Gavin with his trophy.

Also remember this weekend is the We're Crazy But We Don't Care Winter Camp at Manning Park.

Vancouver Giants this Friday March 9

Hi Guys,

Captain Clarence has some ticket vouchers for this Friday's Vancouver Giants game when they host the Kamloops Blazers. Departure time is being worked on but you need to let us know as soon as possible if you're coming. Please contact either Clarence or Howard to let us know. Our scheduling will be worked out very soon.

Just a reminder of the schedule for the building of our race cars
Feb 2 - start design (form can be found here)
Feb 9 & 16 - basic construction and start of detail work on the vehicle
Feb 23 - sanding and detail work
Mar 1 - sanding and painting
Mar 8 - testing and tweaking
Mar 10 - RACE DAY!!!

Be sure to work on your design at home.
